GoDemics’ environment and VFX artists have contributed to the Halo franchise, having worked on (sandbox) gameplay effects and environment art for HMCC. Our VFX artists worked on gameplay effects that included weapon effects, impacts, explosions, ambient environment effects, and destruction simulations for use in-game. Members of our team were also responsible for environment art on several maps, which included 3D art production of natural and organic terrain, USMC architectural assets, Covenant, and Forerunner architecture as well. Fun fact: USMC, Covenant, and Forerunner architecture each have very specific requirements and rules for construction which have to be learned in order to produce environment art that follows the visual language and form of each distinct style of architecture.
